just experimenting with slide shows… i think i've posted some of these before. but it is a set of 11 in the same style. maybe i can add the rest when i am not so busy.anyway, thanks marcus for the comment and thanks for the comment david.
i may do a similar series with my new model. she doesn't like her name to be mentioned online but she has volunteered to be immortalized.i've done one painting i like a lot of her already, in oil, and two that are just so-so.very beautiful young lady. soon i will take her up on it. but i have to make some money for gas to her house in venice beach. now i am far away.thank you for commenting.
i'm not sure what she meant by french style either. i think of it as my style. a style i invented, i thought. yes a real life 17 year old i worked with every thursday night for three hours for a year. then i picked the best of all the drawings and painted a la prima with brushes only on damp etching paper.it was so wonderful when i asked her to pose nude there was no fear in her. she just smiled and said simply, "alright" she hardly knew me.i want to do the same thing out here in los angeles with my new subject "jacqui" who you see in my oil painting of her on my front page at hungryeyegraphics. and she has already agreed and would just love to.good comment. good question.you could put these 11 paintings under a spectrascope and find not even the tiniest pencil lines.
the 'hopper house' (a small school and the 'edward hopper' museum.)in nyack new york was using her. that's how i met her. she was an orphan who was raised by the rudolph steiner school. consequently she had no articficial shyness.the law is 18. still. my children modeled for me voluntaryily for many years. i would just like to see them try to send me to jail for that…. it would go to the supreme court. america is so uptight about sex, you wouldn't believe it.

Impressive. I just want to ask. Do you use white color or just leaving white space on the paper?
