ooh woe. woe is me.
the mean world has
poked a pin at my happy bubble
no more art for now.
the white man speaks with forked tongue
i, like a regular redskin, undercapitalized,
must move to another reservation
the march of tears… from cozy freedom
to the 'big house'… shared room nightmares
'four walls a free man make', goes the proverb
what will i do…
"bradley my boy, i believe we were put on the earth to do a lot less than we think."

Scott, I am very touched as well as puzzled by this post of yours.I ask myself the following questions:If mr Hawking is right about his predictions, should we really forget about making art, making love, making all things beautiful? Should we give all that up to start working determinently on our own survival as a specie? What would survival be worth if not for making art and love?Am I a whiteskin, therefore doomed? Or maybe one of the undercapitalized who should be allowed to a fresh start? Are these predictions by mr Hawking just another callout that the wolf is coming – just like so many others before him has done throughout my life? Or is the wolf coming now – we just don´t believe it anymore? Will the world end the way my fellow national, Soren Kierkegaard once said:"It so happened in a theatre once, that there was a fire backstage. The announcer rushed on stage to inform the audience about the fire. Now, everyone thought it was a joke and applauded. He repeated his warning, everyone cheering and laughing even more. This way I think the World will one day end – in laughing and cheering from funny-heads thinking that it´s just a joke."

What really concerns me is that I see the number of similar callouts increase. Are they just a fashion inspired by the ever increasing bad news, a phenomenon of global low spirits or are they about the real thing?I don't know.Just a question dear Scott. Why is this burried in the commends session instead of the main post?

People have always been predicting the end of the world as near as I can tell. Back to the Egyptian times. I think simply put, there are a lot more people and so you'll hear the cry a lot more.Is the world coming to an end? What does it matter? If it is controlled by the supernatural then we have no influence upon it and our fate is decided. If we do control our own fate than we should work as we do every day, toward surviving as best we know how and perhaps, if only for an instance, being more than that survival.Yum

well, we are ruining the earth and we are passive about it.we don't run for our wolf-repelling tools because we are the wolf.if we don't believe that we determine the future, then we are the sheep being fleeced.hawkings is not a prophet, he's a scientist weighing the facts and predicting results.i can go on contributing to the art of my time if the conditions are favourable. positive statements of beauty enhance our lives, i just meant in my silly poem that i am being moved literally to new quarters which don't provide the space for painting. sorry, i should have just come right out and complained in plain language. i have confused everyone with this important newsflash which should have been a frontpage post.

Hi Scott, thanks for passing by my blog…Well, I dont know much to tell… but just dont feel like that… maybe the most important is dont be alone, always be with your friends and the people you love… it goes away fast! believe!I have the terrible act to isolate myself, and this is not good to me… I feel that when I'm not good, I'll be not good to people too, with my sadness or others bad feelings… so, I stay away…But dont do the same. Look for the people who love you… and you'll feel better soon :)hugsBea.

more than we think…huh. Here's what my brain matter churned up:Well, why do we think, why do we ponder, why do we have aneiety? These are fundemental questions that can be answered. in detail, it happens because it happens because it happens. if it didn't happen, then it wasn't supposed to happen. If we didn't think, we weren't supposed to think.hmm….I'm starting to think too much. that can be dangerous to your health i think….Have a GREAT Day!

sorry, half tech, no cigar this time." it happens because it happens because it happens. if it didn't happen, then it wasn't supposed to happen. If we didn't think, we weren't supposed to think."because if we didn't have the birth right of free will, we would not be able to 'do' anything. what comes from ourselves that is not mechanical or driven by forces outside of ourselves? hmmm? don't we have a wish?are our dreams meant only to plague us with expectations unfullfillable?but i do appreciate the courage of your comment.
