please check it out and be careful, you might buy something by accident. π
a dewy rose
my eyes are drinking this dewy rose
my mouth is dry from thinking thinking thinking
i can feel the cool water on the lips of my imagination
where this liquid vision soothes my thirsting heart
this red red rose
wet as the lips of river rocks
where water washes eternally
like love.

:wizard: That's just great news Scott, i'm very happy for you :hat: Hope it will expand ! :sherlock:Best greetings from Denmark  RuneSB
Congrats on your e-shop Sir Scott! :ccol: π π :wizard:
Yes Im quick…LOL…I guess it depends on what Im doing..some will say Im slow on the draw .. LOL
Best of luck with the site!Yes, it's a brave new world. You know being a Howard Hughes style recluse I now do 95 percent of my non-grocery shopping on-line. It's convenient, I can usually get exactly what I want, you can get good prices, and it's not as easy as a store where there is a temptation to buy things I probably wouldn't have when I walked into the store.

that's very true. :up:i have even taken to ordering groceries online. one company delivers shopping list to door. a different organic vegetable group has my stuff every other tuesday. prices are competitive.when you think of the time you save and the gas money, it really is very practical.this one, csa, is national. you have to pick up at a school nearby.https://csacalifornia.org/thisweeksbag.html
And I sold my van..so I dont buy gas.I hardley ever have any money lately…I had some money one day.
Groceries ? wow//most of these days I dont even have any food…for 3 days last week I didnt eat…no money. I lived on the coffee I had. When I can buy something these days..it usually is about 5 dollars worth.
May your shop really well, Scott. :p If I get the citizenship of the USA, I'd visit your studio and buy a beautiful painting from you.
Interesting about the food on-line, Scott. I'd like to find someplace where I could get cheap tomatoes — yesterday at my store they were $3.99 lb. OMG!

Congratulations on your cart and e-shop my dear bro'! Wonderful to see all of this… I wish all good fortune for your enterprise and hope it also takes off in other foreign climes too. I wish you all success in bringing your art to as many commercial markets as possible  :knight:Bro' John, aka Loku:king: :knight: π
right on oh faithful brother from across the big water… thank you so much for your heartfelt good wish. even if it doesn't happen at least i did my best to invite the universe to send down a new avenue of commerce some of my pay for the last fifty years. π
i will take a look at your e-cart and see what i can do, my beloved  brother in the far off land over the water. of all the friends i have you deserve the crown of constancy in loving friendship, given freely and without qualification and whose heart is as the ocean, deep and full. that is not to say that my other friends are lesser then thee, but i mark thee out as noble above many, beloved brother scott, and for this i thank thee for safe haven and strong anchor from storms these many years since 2004
scott dear friend and brother, amen to all of our luck to be born under the same lucky star and thanks for the blessings of our meeting all those years ago and the friendship that has never faltered. I remember dedicating a poem to you because I was (and am still) in such admiration and awe of your innate creative talent and of your eloquence and noble heart that reached out, touched me as i recognized my brother. we would have said then and still can say "Aspirat primo Fortuna labori ….Fortune smiles upon our first effort (Virgil)" :knight:
john, dear friend. it was you who set the example for me when i was just beginning on this blog-a-thon. your evident open hearted generosity impressed me as much as your silver tongued eloquence. we were, i know, born only months apart in different worlds but under the same lucky star. :knight:
I must say….you are very talented. I love the art in your shop and as you said….buying the original item is always the best option, it is like buying a piece of the artist's soul. Now I want to get to your poem here. I have rarely heard a better description of something than this. Before I read your poem, my eyes was riveted on this rose and my thoughts were, "How beautiful and liquid"Thank you for this I loved it.
thank you helen for loving it. what a beautiful comment…. warmed my heart today. :happy:Originally posted by NitroH:
exactly.
My dear Scott, you are so deserving. I am glad that I could warm you heart on this day.I have always been a lover of original art, when I peruse a painting, I always wander what was going on in his heart, mind and what his feelings were at the time a part of the piece was created. Original art is something so personal and it can only be a good thing if all would appreciate it for what it is…..Thoughts, feelings, love, hate, tenderness…. sort of like an emotional roller coaster.I am truly grateful you are sharing this with us.
BTW..scott … I left you a note on Elly's page and in case you didn't see it yet here's a link I googled up for you, apropos the prob you mentioned .. :up:http://www.nexusoneforum.net/forum/nexus-one-tech-issues-bug-reports/10597-still-no-file-search-android-works.html

john, thanks for the link. i'm following the crumbs… reading reading reading is all i do. putting the pieces together. sift and stir. :sherlock:
Scott,Keep on going.. the trail leads on and on… and though it is often better to travel than to arrive I got no doubt the crumbs you pick along the journey up are not crumbs, but nuggets of wisdom as you sift and stir  :sherlock:

olga, i am so plastered all over cyber-space, for free, but it's not the same as advertising. for example i could pay a monthly fee to google with coupons from 1and1.com, my server, but it's a lot of money to pay every month. i am on picasa, flikr, jalbum, photo bucket, facebook, myspace and opera. plus some cloud collections such as 'roadrunner'.i really think that no one buys art anymore. their eyes are satiated by the internet and television. their eyes are tired. π

I think now art is really for very rich people. I mean buying art.
even the rich are not buying now, as far as i can tell. or they are only buying what people who are supposed to know tell them to buy. they have the money and they have plenty of art. no room on the walls. π‘
