Well…I think that in what anyone is doing…whether it be the president of some company, or a stay at home mom…and anyone in between can contribute to the building of a better world. I do it by trying to raise kids that are tolerant and kind to others..not selfish…and in touch with the environment and life around them. Trying to show them that the world is bigger than just their bubble, their own little world. Raising little humans to love is not an easy task…as you know.:)
beautiful sarah.that's all i tried to do with my children also.now is different for me. i am trying to find a voice which will touch the recalcitrant minds of the world.there is not a lot of self-questioning going on. just a lot of opinions based on mechanical osmosis of prejudices from parents and communities people are striving to conform to. and that's just a survival mode.i am interested in originality. new ideas which are practical and new intuitions regarding the meaning of existence itself. but of course constructive ideas are what are needed; not a re-hashing of what has crystalized in the minds and the very behaviour of even those closest to us. sin and blame and self-reproof are so passe'.we are functioning in a critical period. and must all put our shoulders to the wheel. if we don't, then that's the end of the experiment until another ten trillion years. but who cares how long it will take to create heaven.
